Plaza Arcade

Plaza Arcade is located next to the David Jones Building and is one of the two main thoroughfares linking the Hay and Murray Street Mall, which are the main retail pedestrian streets in the city. Last renovated in 2006, it comprises a three-storey heritage-listed retail building with specialty tenancies. The tenant mix is diversified, comprising services, food & beverage, fashion, shoes, jewellery & accessories, giftware and mobile shops. Established brands include UNIQLO’s first store in Perth and Outback Red.

The Murray Street Mall end of Plaza Arcade has undergone asset redevelopment to create additional retail space on the upper floor and a revamped façade. Global apparel retailer UNIQLO opened its first store in Perth at Plaza Arcade in August 2018 as the mall’s anchor tenant, complementing the city centre's revitalised retail offerings.

To further refresh Plaza Arcade, the mall’s interior underwent aesthetic enhancement works. The laneway beside the mall was also uplifted with a greenery-inspired mural artwork and a new entrance statement to enhance mall visitations. These rejuvenation works were completed end of 2019.
